Happy hump day,
Regular viewers may remember the posts I did back in February and March when I mentioned I did some filming for a band? Well I’m very, very, very pleased to let you all know that CYPHAR’s Mayhem film is complete and released and it looks AWESOME.
Firstly I need to say a big congrats to Jak and Dan for the cut; looks really good – great mix of visuals and works so well with the track. Kirsty looks so good as Lola in the lead, pleasure to work with her. The assembled extras and performers did a cracking job [too many to mention here but have a look on CYPHAR’s FB page to see posts] and pretty much made the film what it is.
Bit of techie geekness. The film was shot on a Nikon D600 and a Canon 5DII. Both really good video cameras for low light work such as this. Any additional lighting other than what was present on the two locations was provided by the LED panels I talk about in this link. They worked a treat and did everything we needed including resisting the hard floor where they ended up a lot.
Last but certainly not least it was, as always, a LOT of fun working with Ross. We’ve worked together a lot over the last few years on a variety of still and video productions, makes life so much easier working with someone who gets you and can see the final piece. Cheers man.
Anyway, enough gushing – click on the image to the left, sit back and enjoy the show – if you LOVE it [obviously will] then you need to come and see the guys in Camden on the 30th of this month – you will not be disappointed.
